The final chapter of Tite Kubo’s Bleach left as quickly as it came and left it’s audience with a plethora of questions which all thought would go very much unanswered. This is simply what happens when a Manga goes on for so long but is not given the proper amount of time to conclude. Luckily, for those of you out there that still want more Bleach, it has just been revealed that two novels are planned for a release across 2016, what’s left of it, and 2017.

The first of the two to be released is a novel written by Makoto Matsubara, who is known for previous Bleach novels, and will focus on a special story that revolves solely around Rukia Kuchiki and Renji Abarai, who we now know are a couple with a child. This story, though specifics still havn’t been released, could indeed focus on the development of their intimate relationship leading up to the birth of their child…or it could be literally anything else, though I know what people will be hoping for specifically.

The second of the two novels is written by Ryohgo Naruto (Durarara!!), and will focus on a, so far, undisclosed battle against what is only being referred to as a “secret enemy“. The image released related to this particular novel happens to feature Shuhei Hisagi as it’s main focus which is leading many to believe that the story will focus on him, though, once again, this is all just speculation.

Apart from this, nothing else has been revealed regarding these novels but you can guarantee that, as their release creeps closer, more and more information will be disclosed.

  1. I wonder if Bleach will just keep going in one form or another forever.
