Over in San Francisco, the Pokemon TCG World Championships have officially begun, and what better way to celebrate the start of such an event than with a lively opening ceremony featuring a brand-new trailer for Game Freak’s upcoming Pokemon Sun and Moon? The answer; there is no better way! This new international trailer features a few Pokemon that have been previously revealed through Japanese-only outlets, but alongside the reveal of their English name comes a Pocket Monster we’ve yet to see until now: Crabrawler is a Fighting-type Pokemon that is based on both a Crab and a Boxer, hence the name. It can be caught with either Hyper Cutter or Iron Fist as it’s ability.
Both the sandcastle Pokemon now have English names; Sandygast and Palossand, both of which feature the ability Water Compaction which allows the user to double it’s defence when hit with a Water-type technique. The pre-evolution of Bewear now too has an English name, and it is just as cute as the Pokemon itself: Stufful. Judging by what looks to be a tag hanging from it’s rear-end, alongside it’s english name, my assumption is that this Pokemon is surely based on not only a Red Panda but also a stuffed toy.
Pokemon Sun and Moon is set for a worldwide release on the 18th of November for the Nintendo 3DS. Enjoy the latest trailer!
