Madman Entertainment are THE leading distributor for both Anime and Manga across our great land; Australia. It only makes sense that, now in 2016, they will be hosting their very own Anime Festival to celebrate all things Japanese pop culture, focussing on, as you have already guessed, Anime as well as Manga, Video Games, Cosplay, and everything else pop culture fans absolutely adore.

Originally founded in 1996, Madman Entertainment quickly rose to an incredible level of popularity thanks to it’s absolute dedication to all things Anime. After dominating the market, Madman Entertainment moved on to bigger and better things as they added Manga, and international movies to their already extensive catalogue in a successful attempt to corner the market.

Now that it’s the company’s twelfth birthday, a celebration must be had to not only honour the company but the media that made it the juggernaut it is today. Set to be held on across the 3rd and 4th of September this year, the festival will be held at the Melbourne Convention and Exhibition centre.

Madman Entertainment, alongside online distributors AnimeLab, and video game industry legends Bandai Namco Entertainment, will do everything in their power to make this one of the greatest Japanese pop culture festivals in Australia’s history. Yuko Miyamura (Asuka Langley of Neon Genesis Evangelion), and Tiffany Grant (Nojiko of One Piece, Martel of Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood), are the first two guests that have been announced to be attending the festival, with Madman promising that there’s much more to come!
