Did you know hat there’s a brand-new “Yu-Gi-Oh!” film currently in development? You’re smart, I bet you did already know that. Did you know that it’s set for a release in 2016? Once again, I’m sure you’re already aware. Did you know that the movie will star both Yugi Muto and Seto Kaiba from the original series? What am I saying? Of course you know that! Well, OK, how about this: Have you seen the new designs for the legendary monster cards “Blue Eyes White Dragon” and “Dark Magician”? Now I’m sure you remember the way they used to look back in the original Anime and Manga series but times have changed and so have they!

The latest issue of Shueisha’s V-Jump magazine happens to feature a new promotional image from the upcoming movie that shows the new designs for aforementioned monsters and their both looking damn fierce! While “Blue Eyes White Dragon” hasn’t changed too much, “Dark Magician” has had a slight colour change and has put on about fifty kilos of muscle…like I said; times have changed and so have they.

Apparently these two monsters are set to go head-to-head in the upcoming movie but I suppose that goes without saying doesn’t it? Any piece of media featuring Yugi and Kaiba will have to show them throwing down, it simply wouldn’t be a “Yu-Gi-Oh!” movie without it. The film, as mentioned, is set to release sometime in 2016. Obviously, as the year gets closer I’m sure we’ll be hearing and seeing much more of what this movie will feature so stick to the site for news when it breaks.
