A rivalry reborn

If you thought DBZ couldn’t get any bigger, you thought wrong…if you’re in Japan. Already garnering attention for being both a DBZ movie and seeing the return of the annoyingly resilient Frieza. Though the previous film Battle of Gods was the first Japanese film to screen in digital IMAX, it did not receive the 3D treatment. Thus, Resurrection of F will mark the first Japanese film to screen in IMAX 3D, across 18 theatres when it releases on April 18th.

As for the rest of the world, there is no concrete details regarding the release, or the formats of said release. Of course, it’s still early days so that’s not too much of a surprise. Still, it’d be pretty awesome to see DBZ on the even bigger screen. Maybe if we’re nice to IMAX we can all get a release like this.
