And we’re very excited about it! The PlayStation Experience event took place over the weekend in Las Vegas and from it came a few awesome announcements of upcoming PlayStation titles set to be released in 2015. We already know that “Final Fantasy VII” is set to be hitting consoles in the coming year but today Square Enix has officially announced that another “FF” title will be joining the PlayStation 4 family and it just so happens to be the previously-released “Final Fantasy X/X2 HD Remaster”.
Already available for both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita, this upcoming PlayStation 4 version of the same game is said to come with some system-exclusive features that have yet to be detailed by Square Enix but my assumption is that, as usual, the audio and visuals are going to be a little more crisp. Apart from that, I have no idea what else we’re to expect from this re-re-release but I’m sure, in due time, Square Enix will give us a little more information. Like “Final Fantasy VII”, “Final Fantasy X/X2 HD Remaster” will be hitting local shelves around the world sometime around August of next year. Once again, as we get closer I’m sure Square Enix will release more specific dates for specific countries and regions but as of right now all we have to work off of is August.
