Hey there, doods! We get some pretty awesome news regarding the upcoming PlayStation Vita release of ‘Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited’ that is set to get Australian and New Zealand tactical RPG loveers in a frenzy! NIS America have just announced that, with help from their good friends Bandai Namco Games, they will be releasing ‘A Promise Revisited’ down in Oz (and New Zealand) on the 12th of September this year!

That’s only two months away so it’s time to crack out some of the past ‘Disgaea’ games and get leveling, you’re going to need reintroduce yourself to the series if you want to be good enough to show your skills in this new release. ‘Disgaea 4’ was originally released on the PlayStation 3 way back in 2011 but much like it’s predecessory ‘Disgaea 3’ which was also released back on the PS3, it will be getting a re-release for the PlayStation Vita.

This enhanced version of the game will feature every single piece of DLC that was released for the PlayStation 3 version but, apart from the initial cost of the game, you wont be paying any more for it! Free extras, doods! The game comes upgraded with everything you probably expect; new characters, crisp visuals, a fresh soundtrack, general gameplay enhancements and so much more! It is practically a new game with it’s extra content. Look, don’t just take my word for it, hear it from the horses mouth:

The original game had a cast and story that was widely praised as one of the best in the series, and this PlayStation®Vita version offers players a chance to relive that adventure on the go, and with brand-new content! Disgaea 4: A Promise Revisited comes packed with in-depth gameplay, everlasting value, and the great sense of humor you’ve come to love.  The graphics engine truly brings Takehito Harada’s characters to life with fluid animations and high definition details.  Create your own political party and take advantage of a slew of new battle and strategic features expanding upon the already staggering replay value. Grab your PS Vita and stop the Corrupternment’s evil doings with the power of…sardines?

I’d be lying if I was to say I’m not excited for ‘Disgaea 4’. I never got the chance to buy it the first time around when it was released on the PlayStation 3 so I’m going to take this re-release as a sign from the universe and preorder my copy now which you guys can do at any good video game retailer or on the game’s official site which you can get to by Clicking Here. Featured on the site is a bunch of extra information for anyone willing to read it so click through and check it out.

If my peppy explanation of the upcoming release wasn’t enough to get you pumped then just watch the trailer for the game below. It’s Japanese trailer for the game that NIS America provided but you can expect to hear the same English voice actors from the PlayStation 3 version make a return so don’t freak out too much. It’s looking to be one hell of a good re-release, try not too miss out on it, doods!
