After receiving a rather broad release window, as in “Winter”, Tales of Hearts R has finally been dated for the West. The Americas will net the game on November 11th, while those in Europe will have to wait an additional three days, hence a November 14th release. See kids, addition is helpful.
Having already been release in the bygone ere of 2008, this PS Vita port promises full 3D graphics, new anime cutscenes, full voice acting and a bunch of other features that are assumedly just as cool.As for the story itself, Bandai Namco summed it up thusly:
Tales of Hearts R follows the story of Kor Meteor, a brave young man living in a small village by the sea, as he sharpens his fighting skills under the watchful eye of his grandfather. Impressed with Kor’s growing skill, his grandfather bequeaths to him a special type of weapon known as a Soma. Soma users must possess exceptionally strong Spiria, the source of all life from which the human mind and will are derived.
Armed with his Soma, Kor soon encounters a young woman named Kohaku Hearts who has been placed under a spell by a mysterious witch. As Kor attempts to lift the spell, he accidentally shatters Kohaku’s Spiria Core, the source of her emotions. Kor must set out on a journey to find a way to make Kohaku’s Spiria whole once more.
So what do you think? Are you going to definitely pick up Tales of Hearts R, or are you only going to most likely get it? Well whatever your choice, just remember that November is when you’ll get your chance. Also every month after November…I was just trying to be dramatic.
